Oversize Transport Permits

Standard Dimensions (Transport Without Permit):

  • Permitted standard dimensions and weight: 
    20 m × 2,55 m width × 4 m height – 38 t (5-axle configuration) 
  • Exception for the M-1 route towards Russia: 
    Maximum permitted weight without a permit: 40 t
    Axle load distribution: 7,5 t + 10 t + 7,5 t × 3 

A permit is required if any of the following limits are exceeded: 

  • Length: 20 m
  • Width: 2,55 m
  • Height: 4 m
  • Gross vehicle weight: 40 t 

Single-Trip Permits 

  • Validity: 30 days 
  • Purpose: Single journey or a specified route 
  • Scope: The permit authorises travel along a specific route from point A to point B, including the customs office address, for a defined vehicle combination and its specified dimensions.

3–5 business days

Permits are not subject to extension. Once the validity period has expired, a new permit application must be submitted.

Transport is permitted 24/7, unless different time restrictions are specified in the permit. In such cases, the schedule defined by the issuing authority applies.

Cancellation costs depend on the stage of order processing and the timing of the cancellation in relation to the planned start of the escort operation.

The same principle applies to permit cancellations — the later the cancellation is made, the higher the potential costs, resulting from preparatory work already completed, submitted applications, and allocated resources.

Police escort and substitute services are required when any of the following limits are exceeded:
